This spell is great for PVE, but really shines in PVP.  At the beginning of a Walatiki match you can run off the starting ledge, jump, and then cast Pounce to get over the fence and right down to where the 3 mask spawns are.  It also works in Bloodsworn to get over the walls when moving up after a point is taken or even to jump between secondary objectives. Also if you plan on jumping from a high place and don't want to take fall damage, cast pounce just before you hit the ground.  It will then only calculate fall damage from where you cast instead of from where you jumped.
