(july/2014) Currently the cool downs are broken for these path abilities. At max level, the cool downs are still at the level 1 cooldown (10min for Back in the Fray). Overall, Soldier missions are very boring and extremely repetitive. The path abilities you earn are essentially worthless especially for group play. Back in the Fray is the only one with real utility, but it really only makes grinding, dailies, and challenges slightly easier. Other paths are more tedious (scientist, etc), but you get more useful abilities like summon group, vendor, etc.
