Out of the 16 times, 3 were spotlights with 3 Flux Capacitors. It's indeed a numbers game. But the Tech Tree is (no longer) bugged.

This also worked once for me: 1. Flex Capacitor 2. Flex Capacitor 3. Iron Screw.

Just gonna go ahead and say, you have probably come here after smashing your keyboard in frustration while trying to make a spotlight. the only way I have found to make it is 3x Flux capacitors. however it's only like a 10% chance it will work. so much hate in my life for this crafting system.

This is an exceedingly difficult recipe to get right. It seems to be a numbers game. Throw enough mats at it and eventually you get enough to move on.

Confirmed it is 3X Flux Capacitors....I am a T4 Architect and can't get this cpmletion done on my Tech Tree!!!! I don't know if it is broken or what. I mean I have made purple and blue dcor with less trouble than this spotlight. I am also Survivalist so getting the ore and sapphire to make it is draining my golds! I enjoy a good tough crafting system but this is straight up dumb. I have contacted carbine through bug report and twitter. I feel like it is completely broken. Good Luck Architects!!!
