AngryStalker over at the offical Wildstar forums posted this in reference to this quest, "AngryStalker Posted 06 June 2014 - 06:47 PM I made a post a few days ago about this quest Spurious Logic and how it is linked to the achievement Expert investigator in Galeras. I myself was upset at how you only get one chance at it and how I messed it up before I knew that the achievement existed so I re-rolled because I am an achievement hunter like many people. This post is to give some insight on to how the achievement is completed as I can see from my post and other posts as well that some people are upset about this being one chance only as well. Now having gotten trolled by Carbine the first time I decided to sit at the quest area and observe others attempt this quest/achievement so I could get a better understanding of it. After a while I was able to deduce that: 1. The quest log is correct in that it states you need to use REVERSE LOGIC to figure it out. Carbine was not trolling me I just didn't read it and went about my way like many do. 2. There are 9 npc's and upon being interrogated (clicked on with mouse, not with the quest item) each one will tell you something that is in fact a LIE. 3. What each npc can tell you varies and the same npc may not tell each player the same thing. For example Researcher Riko may tell one player, "The key is being held near the Eldan Gate" while he tells another, "The key is being held near the campfire". 4. Possible lies each npc can tell are about: A. The gender of the npc who holds the key. B. The race of the npc (there are no Mordesh npc's which should make the race a dead give away). C. The location in the camp where the npc is. D. What type of npc they are. 5. Locations can include 3 of the following and will exclude one as well: A. The entrance to the camp. B. Near the Eldan Gate. C. Near the Camp fire. D. Near the top of the hill where the statue is. 6. Types of npc's include 2 of the following and will exclude one as well. A. Researcher B. Excavator C. Watchguard With all this in mind you should be able to deduce for yourself which one is the correct npc to blast with your CSP Disruptor.
