  If you're talking about the interrupt armor, it can't be removed, it shows infinite interrupt armor, which basically means you can't interrupt it. If you're talking about the big dome shield, you have to kill the mobs roaming around him. They drop an item that you "kick" into the shield to break it. It takes several of these to break the shield.
